about

The Birds Sing a Pretty Song is Håvard Nordberg Funderuds first project in his own name. The somewhat untraditional sextet presents an album that explores Funderud’s compositions, taking the listener through free jazz, soundscapes and delightfully weird melodies. Everything is wrapped up in mystical song titles, leaving it up to the listener to make sense of them. The album also features artwork by Kristoffer Møllegaard.
